Winter camp/clinic for mS & HS athletes

 Performance, Strength & Speed Training Camp/Clinic for MS & HS athletes Feb. 19th-22nd

(Limited to 40 athletes) (Registration deadline February 16th)

Middle School Athletes: Mon-Thurs 9:00-10:30

High School Athletes: Mon-Thurs 10:45-12:15

Training Methodology

  • Learning the curriculum

  • Testing

  • Dynamic stretch

  • Executing drills to perfection for (maximum production)

  • Strength/weight training 

  • Speed Development (Linier & lateral speed) (Accelerating & decelerating) (Sport specific & position drills)

  • Plyometrics for power.  "Power = Speed"

      Format of clinic will be different than how we run the one-hour training classes during the week (higher ratio strength & power).

Open to male & female athletes of all sports, new & current athletes. (bring a teammate, tell the coaches)

(we will except rising 6th graders)

*Event is separate from current members training package and will need to register for event)

 Day 1 (Monday)

Testing, learning the curium, names of drills, chronological order of stretches, cycle through training rounds.

Day 2 (Tuesday)

Role of strength training & plyometrics added to this session with exception of testing.

Day 3 (Wednesday)

Picking up the intensity & cadence, bringing all performance training components together.

Day 4 (Thursday)

Full workout/training of all components, retesting & competition races.
